“Nexus has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone”: these are the words of our client Britney, who joined Nexus with a positive mindset and a passion for learning new skills.
After starting her Customised Employment program with Nexus, a couple of years ago, Britney has not looked back.
She is now employed with several companies across Hobart, including our social enterprise- SEED.
Through Nexus’s Customised Employment program, Britney has learned new skills, and her hard work has truly paid off.
Britney said the Nexus team supported her in gaining relevant skills and experience, which proved fruitful in landing several jobs.
“Working at Nexus has also helped me get my driver’s license, pay for my own car and get me from A to B,” she said.
“It’s been fantastic working and learning new things at Nexus.
“I am really loving it.”
