Our Management Team

Mark Jessop


Mark has had a commitment to supporting people to engage in their community since early in his career as a psychologist when he worked in employment services and supported people to enter award wage employment from ADEs.

Mark joined Nexus in 2013 and has overseen growth in supported living services, along with the development of new programs in community services, capacity building, service coordination and complex individual supports. 

In addition to the disability field, Mark has also managed youth justice services, child protection and a business consulting firm giving him a range of experiences that he brings to his role as CEO.  Mark also reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army working in areas of training, recruitment and health services.

Mark trained as a Psychologist at the University of Tasmania, he has studied and lectured in business and marketing in Western Australia and is a Graduate of the AICD Director’s course.

Adrian Scott

Chief Operating Officer 

Adrian holds qualifications in management and disability and has extensive experience in working in accommodations services for people with a disability.

Adrian has worked in a number of roles at Nexus since 1999, including direct care, program management, systems development, human resources and training.

Adrian has developed and implemented many of the systems used in Nexus’ accommodation services including our Active Support, staff performance management, person centred planning and staff meeting systems.

Alison Hodges

Manager, Client Services

Alison oversees and manages the overall wellbeing, physical and mental health of the clients; including managing the Coordination of Supports team, Guardianship issues, transition and care plans, and family liaison.

Alison has a background in nursing, community programs and Diversional Therapy which has spanned over 27 years.

On the completion of her degree in Health Science (Leisure and Health) in 2000, Alison commence employment with Nexus Inc as Residential Support Coordinator. She then went on to attain a Diploma of Disability Work and Cert IV Training and Assessment.

Over the years with the addition of new programs and the inclusion of clients with ABIs, Huntington’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis etc., this position evolved into the Manager Client Services, whereby she oversees the overall wellbeing, physical and mental health of Nexus clients.

Jackie Gregory

Manager Nexus Community Services

Jackie holds a Diploma in Disability; and has implemented and overseen growth in the Nexus community service area over the past two and a half years.

She specialises in task analysis based training for skills towards independence.

Prior to working with Nexus Jackie worked with clients with ABI’s within their own homes and in the community.

Rebecca Bewley

Nexus Complex and Individualised support

Beck has an extensive background in the disability and community services sector and is one of those rare staff who mixes hands on disability experience, welfare and community work and senior management experience – an ideal mix for managing the complex people Nexus supports.


Beck has worked in varying roles in both government and non government services, as a direct support worker in residential and respite; service coordinator and team leader;  managing family and community support services and  undertaking a contract management role as the Manager of the Community Partnership Team in Hobart.


Beck joins Nexus with a passion for supplying high quality client centred support.
