High praise from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission

Earlier this month our team proudly presented to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission our services, systems and policies that keep us operating at the highest level for our clients and staff.

This was a part of the compulsory audit that all NDIS providers must pass every three years in order to remain an NDIS service provider.

We are thrilled to say that we passed with flying colours and, with no non-compliances, we received a 100% pass rating!

Our CEO, Mark Jessop, was thrilled with the outcome and the opportunity for reflection. “The audit is a great learning experience for us - it’s important that we take a regular, deep look at our practices and policies to ensure that they remain up-to-date and are still working for our staff and clients”.

The auditors were particularly impressed with our work with clients with complex needs. They made special note that many service providers are ceasing these complex needs services because of the level of skill they are required to demonstrate for the audit.

We were also recognised for our significant levels of staff and client satisfaction, the way we manage reportable incidents, and our outstanding Quality and Compliance Department.

Through the audit process we identified some areas that we wanted to work on and have added these to our continuous improvement plan.

We have a ‘health check’ from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission in 18 months and then another full audit in three years’ time.
