This month we were pleased to welcome to our Orchard the current Premier, Jeremy Rockliff MP, the Minister for Community Services, Nic Street MP, and current Liberal candidate for Huon, Aldo Antolli.
The group toured the orchard in Franklin and met some of the team involved in our SEED Customised Employment program. The SEED team working that day were regulars in picking, packing and pruning at the orchard. They had a great time explaining their work and sharing their experiences with the SEED program.
With combined backgrounds in farming, community services and disability, all three of our guests expressed enthusiasm for the SEED program. In particular they were pleased to see a provider with a base in the Huon.
