Working with Nexus

Our Structure

Nexus is a fully independent organisation. We have a voluntary Board of Directors who lead Nexus and monitor the performance of our services.

Our Executive Team is a small group of dedicated professionals with qualifications in psychology, direct care, health studies and business.  

The Nexus Executive Team then support our Team Leaders to continue to gain further skills and qualifications in leadership and disability support. As well as managing their teams, our Team Leaders do rostered hands-on shifts so they can have regular contact with clients and families.

Training: We are passionate about making sure our staff all feel well equipped and supported to provide the best service to their clients. While working with Nexus, staff are offered training that is relevant to their role and level, including compulsory refresher training.

Pay, salary sacrifice, and conditions: Nexus pays inline with the HACSU-Nexus Inc Enterprise Agreement 2016, which includes a number of penalty rates. Staff are also eligible for salary sacrificing through Eziway.  

We understand everyone has different ways of working and we try to be as flexible as possible when finalising everyone's working hours.

Our roles
