We are pleased to share our Winter edition of our newsletter, which is filled with great stories about what our clients and staff have accomplished over the past few cold months.:
- We officially opened the largest Recycle Rewards Depot in Southern Tasmania, proudly operated by our social enterprise, SEED (LINK)
- We welcomed our new Chief Financial Officer and our North West team member Jess was promoted to the role of Assistant Manager Complex Support.
- Our capacity building team organised activities that supported our clients to keep getting out and about incluiding days out at Golf Driving range, movies, and BBQs.
- Our North West team connected with future Support Workers during a guest lecture at TasTafe Burnie where we shared insights into a typical day of a Support Worker and the different roles available at Nexus.
- Clients across the state made the most of the shorter winter days, enjoying outings to cafés, BBQs, the gym, beach trips, and cooking days.
