In the latest edition of our newsletter, we are excited to share the achievements of our clients and staff during this season of growth and new beginnings.
This Spring:
- Our staff, families, Board Members, and guests from across the state came together to celebrate another successful year of Nexus at our Annual Staff Celebration and Awards Night.
- We celebrated the success of one of our Customised Employment Program clients who secured a full-time job after gaining training and hands-on experience through our Social Enterprise, SEED.
- Our staff attended the Speak Out Disability Expos across the state and received a warm welcome and strong engagement. Our team also participated in the UTAS Psychology Careers Fair, where we discussed roles at Nexus that are suited to the unique and valuable skill sets that psychology students can bring to the disability support industry.
- Clients across the state also made the most of the longer spring days, enjoying outings such as fishing, sports days, visits to the Recycling Centre, and celebrating birthdays and new wheels.
